I’m a lifelong film enthusiast who is privileged enough to do what I love for a living. Outside of editing I enjoy playing and reading with my kids, movies, video games, martial arts, skiing and biking.
I’m one of those lucky people who never wondered what I wanted to do with my life. Since the age of 10 I’ve known I wanted to work in film or TV and tell stories through the art of editing. I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York, and then moved to Los Angeles to begin my career in 2003.
My editing specialties include, but are not limited to, story development, music editing, and sound design. I love to collaborate as part of a larger team, but also am perfectly comfortable to be left to my own devices for the duration of a project. I’m fast, creative, and eager to please. This is your project and my goal is to make the final product exceed your wildest dreams.
I was born in Ann Arbor Michigan and raised in the Detroit suburb of Rochester Hills. When I was in the 5th grade my family moved to Germany. The three years there affected me in profound ways that I’m still discovering to this day, and it’s also when I first started making my own movies.
“Drama is life with the dull bits cut out.”
